Back when we first heard about the LG Optimus 3D, we knew that once it would be launched on the market, the price would be a little tough to handle because of its unique features. While LG knows there is not much 3D content available for mobile devices, the special lens gives you the ability to record your own 3D videos. This device is now available for pre-order in the UK for more than £500, as MobileCrunch reported. People have their doubts about the success of this device since it is designed to support videos which are not exactly flooding the market as we speak.
And together with the LG Optimus 3D comes the Sony Ericsson Xperia Play with the same spicy price. Into dollars, each of these phones cost more than $800 which is not exactly the most affordable price tag ever seen. While these prices are really something else, there is nothing definite to panic over so there is still time for us to hear some news and official announcements from Sony Ericsson and LG.

While there is much to say about the Xperia Play, since it is meant to be a replacement for the famous Portable Playstation, the LG Optimus 3D is indeed a special device that includes a dual-core processor and even multi-channel RAM. Even with all these features, the coolest thing about this cell phone is that users will get a device with a dual-lens camera that can capture stereoscopic shots and videos in state of the art 3D.
While waiting for these 2 cells to be available in stores as well, we have to ask you if you would be willing to pay the £500 price for one of these devices and if you would, just what is the element that caught your attention and made you think the price is worth it.
