During the past year, we have watched an endless battle between Apple and Samsung to determine which one of these companies can produce better gizmos. iPad vs. Galaxy Tab, iPhone vs. Samsung Galaxy S, when is it all going to end? Well, it seems that Samsung has finally admitted that Apple is stronger and the iPad is a better tablet. You know what they say, may the best tablet win! Engadget seems to think that Apple now has somewhat of an aggressive update to the iPad and is looking to stun and determine people to buy the device like never before.

New Samsung Galaxy Tab

While Samsung has a pretty cool device to offer in the Galaxy Tab with the 10.1 inch display, it would also seems that Samsung is revising one of its most famous devices because the company is worried they won’t be able to compete with the new iPad anymore. Executive VP Lee Don-Joo has made a statement where he reported that there are inadequate parts of the Samsung Galaxy Tab which need to be improved. It seems that one of the major problems that Samsung is now facing is the pricing strategy which they need to rethink because Samsung has always wanted to make devices similar to Apple’s stuff but at a much more convenient price. It seems that Samsung initially planned to make the new Tab more expensive than its smaller, 7 inch version, but now that they are able to compare it with the new iPad, they might have to say goodbye to some extra profit and cut through the price tag of this new device.

We are really curious to find out just what is going to chance in Samsung’s financial and marketing strategy and how is it going to improve and promote the tablet that, once upon a time, managed to give Apple some serious headaches.

Everyone was reporting exactly the same thing when they released the 7″ version, but it never happened. Samsung are too greedy to lower the price to a point where it compares favourably with the iPad, and that’s why they’ll continue to play second fiddle to the iPad.

Well, on a personal level, I really believe Apple products have always been too expensive compared to the specs they are able to offer. For example, I always believed that the Galaxy S was a much better product than the iPhone.
