A while back ago, we brought you an article about a new Nokia cell phone, the Nokia E6 which is a device that resembles the E63 and the E71 very much in terms of design. Back then, we had a couple of hints about what may be inside this phone and just what is up with it and today, thanks to GSM Arena, we bring you more details about this cool QWERTY phone which is the best friend of people that love texting really fast. GSM Arena has revealed a photo of the device, picture which gives us an idea that this phone may have a touchscreen. That’s because of the marks on the display, showing us several clues about fingers that have touched it.
People have waited to hear more about the Nokia E6 at the MWC 2011 but it seems that the manufacturer had some other plans. Other signs of this device having a touchscreen are the 4 dots located on the bottom center of the screen, leading us to believe that there is more than one homescreen. Oh, so we get a Nokia E63 with a touchscreen? How cool is that? The 2.6 inch display will come with a resolution of 640 x 480 pixels and we are really curious how people will operate such a small display with their fingers. I mean, it’s ok for a kid but having large hands will make using this phone a real nightmare.
It seems like this new Nokia phone comes with an 8 MP camera which is a huge improvement compared to the 2.0 MP sensor found on the Nokia E63. This means better pictures one a touchscreen phone that also has a full QWERTY keypad. Is there anything more you could ask for? Well, some user sure would have loved an Android OS but you know Nokia, always faithful to its Symbian (^3 in this case).
