At first sight, we heard that the Alienware M18x was going to be this portable gaming unit for playing games on the go but now that we’ve come across the full list of specs, something doesn’t strike to us as being very portable. The new Alienware M18x comes with an 18.4 inch display which comes with a native resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels.
Inside the laptop, users will discover an Intel Core i7 Extreme chip processor running at a clock speed of 4 GHz. You can choose between Nvidia SLI or AMD CrossFireX graphics power but, something even more interesting is that you can go with up to 32 GB of DDR3 RAM (I literally cannot imagine what anyone could do with this amount of RAM).
You get a HDMI port included plus WirelessHD and five macro-programmable keys wrapped in an otherworldly anodized aluminum shell. Just by looking at the photo above, you can tell that you are dealing with quite the alien giant.
