Dell decided to get in line with the rest of the world and release a tablet just like any other tablets. Or is Dell Streak Pro more special? If the rumours said that this baby would come with a T25 Tegra 2 silicon running at 1.2GHz and offering 3D support, I am sorry to disappoint you, but the rumours were wrong. Streak Pro will be powered by a 1GHz dual-core Tegra T20 processor and no, there is no 3D support.
According to some leaked info (that came along with the pics), as promised, Dell added Honeycomb to this tablet. The difference will be in design – the aluminum back, but for the rest there is nothing out of the ordinary: a 10-inch screen size with 1280 x 800 resolution. Dell is so friendly as to let you customize your tablet and that is a big plus. Firstly, when it comes to storage, you may choose from 16GB, 32GB, or 64GB. If we are talking about design, then the artist in you will have the following options: blue, pink, black, and red. I love my red car, but I would not get a red tablet. A white one, that’s another story. If you still aren’t satisfied, Dell will add its Stage UI. That’s about all when it comes to customization.
The rest of the specs look normal: 2 megapixel front facing camera, a 5 megapixel one on the rear, WiFi, Bluetooth and if you are expecting 4G, then you will have to stay in line. 4G LTE support for AT&T is taken into careful consideration. Maybe Dell will make up its mind sooner as, according to rumours, we should be expecting this tablet to hit the shelves somewhere around June. Hopefully, until then, one super interesting detail about this tablet would come up to blow off our minds. A tech junkie can dream, can’t she?
