I am barely waiting to get my hands on the Galaxy SII. However, for this I must either rob my bank account or be a big girl and save up. For the ones that are not willing to make either of these two sacrifices, Samsung thought about another cute solution – Samsung Galaxy Z. Now it is available for pre-order at the price of $630.
Samsung Galaxy Z seems to be Galaxy S’ little brother. Younger and not that smart. Besides the 4.2-inch SuperClear LCD with a resolution of 800×480, the smartphone houses an 1GHz dual core processor and 8GB of onboard storage. Another detail (that is however only a rumour in this stage) is the fact that the processor is a Tegra 2. If you are not satisfied with the 8G of storage, of course you can extend it with the help of the microSD slot. Photo lovers will enjoy the 5 megapixel sensor camera, that also comes with flash and HD video recording capabilities.
The rest of the specs include GPS, WiFi and Bluetooth 3.0. Samsung Galaxy Z runs on Android 2.3 Gingerbread. Battery life should go up to 9 hours when talking. What are you waiting for?
