Some people are discrete. Some can keep a secret. We cannot say that about Sony lately, that has pushed several phones through FCC and managed somehow to “share” the spicy details with us. The same happened with Sony Xperia Mini Pro, whose pics surfaced at FCC. It is most likely that the smartphone will be launched in the third quarter, without 3G.
While you enjoy the pics, let’s remember the specs. The new Xperia Mini Pro will sport the classical Qualcomm Snapdragon 1GHz processor and the 3-inch display but comes with the extra front-facing camera and the sliding QWERTY keyboard. It will run on Android 2.3 (Gingerbread). We can include Xperia Mini Pro on the limited list of small smartphones capable of video recording at720 p HD.
We are looking forward to seeing this baby on the shelves and the FCC test makes us think that it’s not long until we’ll be enjoying the Xperia Mini.
