We've been talking about it, hoped and dreamed about it, but when is the Amazon tablet finally coming on the market? According to a recent report, we will not have to wait that long: October is the lucky month when iPad will start trembling and will face its enemy. All analysts and investors agreed on the second month of fall and rumoured some specs for us. Unfortunately there is still no visual info on the tablet.

What can you do when you have one of the most famous ereaders in the world and you would like to give the sales a boost? There is nothing more simple than offering it at a nice discount. This is what Amazon announced on not such a lucky day (for some the 13th mya bring bad luck): 3G Kindle at $139. This is not a miracle, it's just a marketing trick.
Of course that the ereader is actually ad-supported adn Amazon is very grateful to AT&T...

We've got Kindle, Nook is coming up behind with strong forces. Is that all in the ereader market? No, of course not. We still have Kobo and it has just released its eReader Touch Edition. Is it enough for it to start beating some competitors?

I have to admit I was not ready for the day when Amazon would announce selling more Kindle books than print books. But the day came, my heart is partially broken because I simply can't let go of all the wonderful experience a real book offers, while half of my heart bounces with joy because technology is moving on.
