I am all for the green - let's recycle whatever we can, let's keep the cities clean and use (as expected) green types of energy and let's use the sun! Not to get a better tan, but to power our laptops. I have to say that I admire Samsung's idea of launching a netbook whose lid is actually a solar panel. What really makes me happy is that the laptop is available for pre-order for $399 at Amazon.

If you'd like an affordable ultraportable laptop, there's your chance: Samsung Series 3 and Series 9 are now available for pre-order at J&R even if Samsung hasn't made public any very concrete details regarding their availability. I am barely waiting to get my hands on the Galaxy SII. However, for this I must either rob my bank account or be a big girl and save up. For the ones that are not willing to make either of these two sacrifices, Samsung thought about another cute solution - Samsung Galaxy Z. Now it is available for pre-order at the price of $630.
